Happy colourful bowl with fish - maritime eye-catcher

Maritime and individual! These are the attributes that make up this hand-painted decorative bowl. The many fish all have a story to tell and are the "catch of the day" as a colourful eye-catcher.

The bowl was turned by hand on the potter's wheel and then neatly twisted off in a leather-hard state. The pure white colour of the outside was created with a brushed on porcelain slip. This way the colours shine more and look more lively - a great trick!

The fish in the bowl are painted by hand and all of them are imaginatively designed. In addition to the fish, seaweed and air bubbles can also be found on the handmade bowl and make the scene look authentic. The inside is treated with an ocean blue glaze that even changes to azure blue.

The hand-painted bowl is about 10 cm high and 15 cm wide at the opening. Its weight is about 540 g. Due to the ocean blue glaze the bowl is not acid resistant and should be used as a decorative bowl or for nuts or similar.
