Handmade Raku Candlesticks - Minimalist Trio

As genuine Raku ceramics, their entire history is closely interwoven with the burning fire and smouldering embers. Japanese raku firing is a hot and dangerous burning technique. Because of this it is rare in Europe and the Raku ceramics are sought-after unique pieces. At 1000 degrees Celsius the handmade candlesticks were carefully taken out of the kiln and further processed. The candlesticks are about 10, 17 and 20 cm high. The diameter is 6 cm each.
Due to the Raku firing technique, the handmade candlesticks can smell of fire, soot and embers at first.
