Tea culture is part of the national soul in Japan. Over the centuries a large number of different tea bowls and tea accessories have developed and they all have one thing in common: beauty in harmony with nature. Wild mountain ridges alternate with deep canyons and fit seamlessly into the picture of nature. Following this philosophy, this tea bowl was lovingly created by hand. It seamlessly blends the Japanese construction technique used for its manufacture into the image of the tea bowl.

The glaze used for the tea bowl is particularly attractive due to its iridescent facets. She has created round stalactites on the lower edge, which grow from the rough tips of the mountains! She almost created another lucky drop! The sand-colored, playful exterior merges seamlessly into the unglazed foot. This is where nature, which inspired this tea bowl, reappears. Organically and haptically appealing, the tea bowl is a tactile pleasure and contributes to a well-groomed tea break.

It weighs 290 g when empty and has a filling volume of approx. 250 mL. It is about 8 cm high and is about 9 cm wide at the upper edge. Typically Japanese, the tea bowl was banned at more than 1250 °C. These high temperatures cause the clay to sinter by itself, making the tea bowl absolutely watertight. The tea bowl is also suitable for the dishwasher and microwave.
