Product description

Many people know Little Red Riding Hood from Grimm's fairy tales, a little story about a girl who is supposed to visit her grandmother and gets caught by the wolf. Little Red Riding Hood needs luck every time she crosses the dark forest - the wolf only needs luck once. This controversy has been captured and reinterpreted on this small decorative bowl.

The delicate bowl was hand-turned on the potter's wheel and neatly twisted in a leather-hard state. When it was completely dry, the pottery was finally processed and put into biscuit firing. After the biscuit firing followed the exciting part! Finally, the idea could be realised and Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf were captured on the bowl. The fine lines were meticulously painted by hand with black engobe. A direction was breathed into the fur of the rough wolf while drawing and haste was added to Little Red Riding Hood. Both are twice on the outside of the bowl. Little Red Riding Hood runs in the belly of the wolf, which greedily looks for the girl. This fine painting leads to the fact that one cannot get enough of the piece. There is always something to discover! To underline the danger in which Little Red Riding Hood finds herself, the inside of the bowl has been glazed shiny blood-red - gruesome!

The outside was glazed with a transparent high gloss glaze. Both motifs are evenly arranged on the outside of the bowl. A morbid detail is the red glaze running down on the outside - Little Red Riding Hood is not for scaredy-cats.

Her weight is about 730 g. The bowl is about 10 cm high and about 15 cm wide at the belly. The opening is about 11.5 cm wide.
