Perlboote, or the common nautilus, are particularly fascinating creatures and somehow do not belong on the plate! But don't worry, it's just a drawing!
The idea came shortly after International Octopus Day (October 8th). This is celebrated on the eighth day of the tenth month and gives a stage to these special mollusks. It's not just about classic octopuses, no, on this day it revolves around all animals with eight or ten arms/tentacles. Our perl boat is the last representative of an extinct family: cephalopods with a house! A great detail, please with cream!
The platter has been thrown on the potter's wheel in one piece and the elegant foot raises the platter in style. The resulting height of approx. seven cm lets the delicacies float on the cake plate, so that it is difficult to keep your fingers away!
The handmade cake stand holds muffins, macarons and biscuits on its slightly curved plate. This is intentionally made - so nothing rolls down but always in the middle of the plate! The diameter is approx. 22 cm and is therefore something for rather small treats!
