Paul Schiemann

The professed painter has been drawing detailed pictures on ceramics of all kinds for many years. As a young boy, Cologne's cheerful nature came to brush and paint and since then he has never put them aside. What a luck we find! The passion for ceramics came to him after a visit in a pottery - as an adult companion and since then he has been fascinated by ceramics!

After more than 20 years of practice, Schiemann's ceramics have reached the premium level of ceramic design for some years now. The utility ceramics produced on the pottery wheel become a uniquely decorated work of art through his brush strokes. When embellishing decorative ceramics Schiemann also demonstrates a good eye for shapes and likes to experiment with the perspective of the viewers.
